Hello everyone! As you can tell by the new skin and askew coding, TBP has undergone the inevitable switch to v5. So what happens next? A new site has been created on Jcink that will soon be opened (a huge round of applause for Cerasri please). I'm sorry if anyone feels offense at the change, considering it is a new forum host. However, it is a lot nicer than v5 in my humble opinion. Plus it has a similar appearance to V4. The main deal is when you register you must do so with your characters name because you will not be able to change it. Please fire away with any questions. A link will be posted once everything is completed, as well as more information regarding Jcink. Thank you for your patience! I think this is a welcome change to help us back onto our feet. o3o

Hey guys! Here's some info from my end too :'D First off, I should be finished by with the jcink site by next Friday (2/14) at the latest. think if it as the valentines day present you've always wanted :'D Also, as Risa said--Jcink is very similar to PBv4, however it has somethings which are way better. Here's a quick rundown of a few differences and perks: 1) You can create linked accounts. That means there's no more logging in and out when you want to switch characters. Because of this though, every member is likely going to need a rp/ooc account, which is what all their characters will link too. Here's a quick look at linked accounts so you guys can get familiar with it --> click me! 2) The display names are what you use to login in with. They can be changed if you happen to forget and goof but its a giant hassle (needs to be approved by an admin/staff member) so it's best to be avoided. That means, rather than signing up with just 'Fayne' and changing her name later, I'll need to sign up with 'Fayne Undaria', which is what I will use to login with. If you're concerned about constantly typing out your character's name, don't be. With the inclusion of linked accounts its very quick and once you login in to your ooc/roleplayer account you can easily switch from account to account with ease. 3) Jcink uses doHMTL templates, which means if you're using one, while you can still use UBBC code you'll also need to use HTML inside of it. That means line breaks will need to be added with <br> and paragraphs with <p>. Outside of the doHTML tags however, line breaks are automatic just like they are with PB.....and I'll be adding more later. As Risa said, if you have any question please don't hesitate to ask!

Alrighty guys--just a quick update on where we've gotten with the jcink site so far:
The skin itself is done. We're just re-setting up the boards themselves as well as getting all the info threads in place. So far, the info threads done are the: Plot, Rules, Magic & Races. We have the canon list, setting, faq, character app and a few other little tweaks to go before the TBP is ready for its jcink relaunch. Due to schedules getting busy, the estimated date is somewhere around the 19th, or next Wed.
