( GETTING STARTED)
Alright, so first of all, when you register you need
to change your username to your character's full
name CAPITALIZED. If you need a name change,
we are not going to give you one. So do it right,
please.
You need to do your application above anything!
If you are unable to finish your app the day it is posted,
post in the face claim. DO NOT post anywhere else if your
application isn't accepted…Then finish other claims once
accepted.
Please talk to us! That is what the C-BOX is for!
We are very sociable here at To Be Proud, and
we are welcoming to all new members, so don't
be shy!

So, here's the deal. Don't go advertising in the C-BOX!
Seriously, that is what the advertising board is for.
Don't worry, people will be able to see it.
No fighting! Guys, really, be mature. Don't act like six
year olds and fight over stupid things. I've seen and
heard them enough to know that petty squabbles
are annoying!
Remember: Don't be shy! We LOVE to chat with you!
Just make sure to follow these rules or your I.P. will
be temporarily suspended.
( ROLEPLAYING)
First things first, no sex or graphic violence. No
rated X things, keep it all PG-13 please. I don't
think I need to type out what I mean. Follow Proboard’s
TOS and we will have no problem. Cursing is
limited. Every now and then is okay, but not in every
single post. No F words! And you don't need to swear in
the title.
There is no limit to how many words you type!
The more the better, but there is a minimum of
how many you NEED to type. Two WELL written
paragraphs are the minimum. Yeah, yeah we understand
writers block and all that jazz, but that is only
once in a while, kay? Besides, paragraphs at the shortest
are four sentences long. I think eight descriptive sentences
are doable.
Do not, do not, do not reply to a post that someone
spent two hours on, and post one clumsy paragraph. It
is very unfair, and it will be deleted by the admins. Try
to equal in length as much as possible.
Remember spell check! Grammar check! We are
not very picky people (everyone makes a few mistakes), but it just looks
nicer and is easier to read. Capatilization is one of the musts.
And punctuation. We don't mean to be nagging nellies, BUT it is
just a pet-peave of most people. Thanks.
( CHARACTERS)
There is a limit on how many characters you can
have. Five is the most. If you want more PM an admin
for the okay. All your accounts must be active for approval.
You must put them ALL on different accounts.
It gets confusing for some people, even
if it isn't confusing for you, be considerate. If you
have two girl characters, the third character has to
be a boy. That's great if all of them are, the more
the better! Boys seem to be the minimum of chara-
cters on most sites.
Please do not whine if the face claim you wanted is
taken. We don't want to hear it. You can PM the person
and ask them if you want to be twins.. or.. you’re out
of luck. It isn't the end of the universe if you don't
have the face you want. Ask if you need help finding
a new face claim. All face claims must be of a celebrity and not an anime/fan art. Please make sure to double check & source if someone made a siggy for you.
No Mary-Sue's or Gary-Sue's allowed. ALL people have
flaws and your characters have to too!
( ACTIVITY)
Can you please, please, please stay active?
We cannot stress this enough, it’s great if
you have to go on vacation or something like
that, but don't just disappear. Post on the
leaving forum or the talk forum, please.
We'll think you died if you don't tell us!
We will have activity checks probably every
so often, or maybe every month, and if you
don't make the activity checks, we will send
out an email, and if you don't reply within a week
we will have to delete your account. Sorry. :x
