Don't however, take the fact that she's prone to stuttering for granted. The quiet undine has a spine of steel behind all of the self doubt that clouds her mind, and though she can't quite work up the courage to go on an adventure yet, she will not stand by and let those she cares for be hurt. Of course, it's more likely to come out as a stumbling plea but well, at least...at least she tried yes? Unforgettably, good hearted as she is, her naivety makes her easy to take advantage of, and often she doesn't even realize it's happening. She is a bit of a people-pleaser and holds her brother Trith in high regard. Timidity not withstanding, she holds an unbridled curiosity for the land above the waves, and will be quite happy to listen to someone prattle on for days on days (though there might have to be a few water breaks between lest she dry out). irealize,it'shardtotakecourage. The fact that her brother is of the protective sort doesn't exactly help matters. Of course, she's read a few scrolls and understands the basics but such passes tend to make her flustered and more timid than usual. Open minded and naive as she is, she doesn't exactly see the darker side of people. Protected all of her life from dangers (save for those within her own mind) she tends to look for the best in people. That said however, if one hurts someone she cares about, they will at the very least gain her ire. Fayne&Ysadora [/left] I'm not sure how often these two would meet but perhaps they would have a a basic understanding of one another? Ysa may be a little irked at Fayne's naivety but for the most part would respect her shy nature and lean toward patience, a rare feat for her (though a snap or two may slip out of habit). [/size] Fayne&Lachlan [/left] Lachlan is loud, proud, and quite vulgar. He'd rather fight than use words to settle an argument no matter the severity (or lack thereof) of the dispute. Unable to work properly in a group setting Lachlan was moved from the military to the position of executioner (else he be killed). Other than fighting, though not as much, he enjoys women and drink. Regardless he is not a full brute, though he may claim to be so. He has a soft spot for poetry and women. Magic makes him nervous and he's a bit prejudice towards other races. I think he would be uncomfortable around Fayne. I can see him stumbling towards the water's edge out of thirst and he sees her ghostly face beneath. It would bring him to his knees. XD Lachlan may be a bit curious about her as well. It isn't every day that he sees an undine. [/size] |

Fayne && Ysadora:Yeah, not sure how often they would meet but it'd be interesting to see how Fayne would react to someone who isn't afraid to tell what they really think. Quips or not, I think that Fayne would probably almost idolize Ysa, in a shy sort of awkward way XD
The fact that Ysa shows her heart on her sleeve rather than muffling it is something that Fayne will really admire, and since Ysa is 12 years older than she is, I can see Fayne sort of trying to emulate herself awkwardly after the older woman even if they met rarely, whether Ysa knows it or not. Fayne && Lachlan:Oh gosh XD I think Lachlan would equal parts terrify Fayne and enthrall her. Timid as she is, she's naturally curious so I can see her trying to know about Lachlan's (and by that, the people above the surface) life. And lol, that image XD Poor Fayne would probably swim away out of fear before awkwardly trying to swim back.
Since Lachlan would likely be the first non-undine male she's met, I can see her modelling the rest of the 'surface' male people after him, which could probably make for some awkward moments. As for his vulgarity, she's led such a sheltered life I doubt she'd even notice, or realize that the words aren't exactly meant for proper company XD lol, she might even start mimicking him, thinking that such things are common for the people above the surface
