OVERAL!?! – Ysadora is a prime example of a young woman of wealth. She enjoys fine clothing, needlework, rides in the afternoon sun, and proper etiquette. The lady relishes in the perks of womanhood, though is irritated by a lack of say. Her mind is quite sharp, always ticking with curious thought. Nose constantly buried in a book the princess never overlooks an opportunity to indulge herself within pools of text. Ysadora has a sharp tongue, something that has always landed her in trouble, and she struggles to swallow back any venomous retort. She is a modern woman trapped in a medieval body. Her patience is a thin thread easily frayed and her anger explosive. It is hard for her to admit defeat, and Ysadora will come off as childish if she loses (often pouting her lower lip). She judges others with little care and first impressions are most important. Ysadora finds it difficult to trust anyone, except her three sisters. She is a vigilant cynic.
Despite her best attempt at hiding her true feelings, Ysadora wears her heart on her sleeve. It’s obvious to know what is going through her head; her stern-lipped glare, narrowed lids, and pouty sneer are quite noticeable. She was deeply hurt when her father cut her inheritance like a rose from a bush; being deemed a bastard (while entirely legitimate) was a shame she can hardly bear. She has always loathed her brother for his addict qualities and selfish manners; and she wishes to see him from the throne peacefully. Because of this she sells her rings to the Rorret (her only means of support), claiming she grows tired of the jewelry. Regardless of her bitter and apathetic nature, Ysadora is very loyal to those she holds dear. She can be a true friend or a vindictive enemy.

EYES!?! - Ysadora’s eyes are a light green and shaped like almonds. Her lashes are long and dark.
HAIR!?! – Her thick, ebony curls reach her mid-back.
FACE!?! – Sharp features and high cheekbones; her lips are always pulled back in a mean frown.
BODY!?! – Her body is kept slender and healthy, as is most royals.
UNUSUAL!?! – Her ears are pierced once on the lobe.
OVERAL!?! – Because of her ashen skin and sharp features Ysadora has a persistent sickly appearance. Her light green eyes shine out beneath dark lashes. Often her hair is let down, cascading in thick curls down her back. At times she dresses it up as she sees fit. Ysadora adores gowns of deep shades such as emerald, burgundy, and navy blue. She delights in elven-made jewelry but finds the fashionable patterns of dragons fascinating. Her thin lips are often set in a scowl or line of indifference. There are few who she delights in the company of. Ysadora has excellent posture; a stick straight back and squared shoulders sometimes gives her a prudish appearance (though that is not necessarily untrue).
MOTHER!?! – Helena, deceased, dowager princess.
FATHER!?! – King Ferdinand, deceased, late king.
SIBLINGS!?! –
King Cyprian, 23, king of Ostlea
Lady Genevra, 20, royal
Lady Astrid, 17, royal
Princess Celandine, 11, royal princess
IMPORTANT!?! – Queen Aralyn (step-mother), 24, widow
FINALLY!?! – Ysadora was the first child born to King Ferdinand and his wife Queen Helena. From a young age she was showered with spoils of affection, though it was made apparent she would never succeed to the throne. There was pressure upon her mother to birth a son but despite their hopes, she never successfully had another child. Always keen and observant of those around her, at age six Ysadora was confused when her mother confessed a sudden leave of absence. Always having been close to Helena, Ysadora was distraught at learning her father had divorced her mother. He immediately married, ensuring to cut Ysadora from succession and labeling her a bastard princess. Regardless of her newfound title she was made to stay within the palace while her mother was sent to a small estate in the country. The king promised Ysadora monthly visits but she never saw her mother again; during her travels Helena was killed by a caravan of thieves (rumored to have been the Cosa Nostra).
She was devastated by the loss of her mother but was comforted by a loving tutor, Joffrey, who took the girl under his wing. He taught her math, science, literature, and how to properly behave oneself. She was struggled with the last point. Ysadora sought refuge within her books and took out her anger on long horse rides through the country side with Joffrey never far from her side. Ysadora strongly disliked her father, but what she hated most was watching him take wife after wife. The poor women would either die at his hands or of other causes. Though Ysadora was blessed with three half-sisters who she cares for very much; two of whom share her own fate. When the plague settled across all of Ostlea an attempt was made to smuggle out the royals to the Burnt Wood but the plan was halted when the king fell ill; he was in no condition for such a move. He died after two weeks, leaving the throne to his son Cyprian.
Hooked on drugs Cyprian legalized the Cosa Nostra; mafia clans who thrived on prohibited trade. Ysadora hated them all; she knows in her heart they had killed her mother. But she also knows the people live in fear. The Cosa Nostra was given control of the militia; any soldier who argued was exiled or executed. Physically weak, and clumsy of feet, Ysadora is unable to fight with a sword in her hands. However, she sells her jewelry claiming to grow tired of the items like many other noblewoman. She gives the money to the Rorret so that they may properly sustain themselves; if she hears of any useful information she shares it.
